Curriculum Vitae

Arne Feike

Senior Product Designer

For 15+ years I've worked on products where complexity isn't a style choice but the actual problem: proteomics data, energy infrastructure, clinical research platforms, white-label apps for 20+ utilities. My job is to make dense, high-stakes systems clear enough that people trust them and act with confidence. Since 2020 I've led design at Beyonder, where I built the design function from scratch. I'm a certified Product Owner and have carried PO responsibility on projects since 2022 — so I can own the product vision, not just the interface. What pulls me now is AI: with Nyx, an AI companion I designed and built end-to-end, I work on the hard part of AI-native UX — making an automated system transparent, controllable and trustworthy.

Senior User Experience Designer

Beyonder Group BV (formerly Ambient Innovation GmbH)

Customized software development for B2C & B2B clients

Key accomplishments

  • Established and scaled the design function at Beyonder from the ground up — processes, tools and a high-performing team that became integral to the agency’s delivery model.
  • Developed the “Concept Sprint”, a modular framework that improved project scoping, client collaboration and estimation accuracy.
  • Integrated UX into Beyonder’s agile Scrum framework and elevated design maturity at leadership level.
  • Led UX and product design for Brother, REWE, DHL, Vattenfall, GIZ and NFDI.
  • Created “Myze” for Brother — a cloud platform for on-demand print and fulfillment that opened new customer segments in textile printing.
  • Designed a SaaS product for MSAID, letting them commercialise their proteomics AI independently instead of relying on third parties.
  • Redesigned the study submission flow for NFDI — a ~80% reduction in form abandonment, per client feedback.
  • Crafted a white-label energy app for Vattenfall, now rolling out at a first municipal utility with strong interest from ~20 more.

Responsibilities

  • Conception, design and continuous evolution of digital products — from websites and apps to complex software solutions. I support clients across the entire product lifecycle: discovery, strategic consulting, hands-on design and implementation. I plan and facilitate workshops, run user and stakeholder interviews, and translate insights into meaningful experiences. I design scalable design systems, build and test interactive prototypes, and ensure smooth handovers to development.
  • I laid the foundation for design at Beyonder when I joined in 2020 and built the function from the ground up — workflows, tools and processes that became the backbone of our pipeline. Today I guide and mentor a growing design team, ensure consistency and quality across projects, and drive the agency’s design maturity through internal talks, company-wide design reviews and joint workshop visits.
  • Working alongside scrum teams, my focus is on integrating the design role into agile development: aligning design workflows with sprint planning, enabling early involvement, and keeping user-centered thinking embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Certified as a Product Owner since 2025, with PO responsibilities in selected projects since 2022 — managing backlogs, writing detailed user stories, prioritising against strategic objectives, facilitating sprint planning and keeping stakeholders close.
  • I support the sales team and play a key role in lead generation, representing the UX/UI perspective in client acquisition. I developed the “Concept Sprint”, a modular 2–4 week framework combining design, prototyping, planning and development-oriented tasks to shape a solid product foundation and improve cost estimation.
